[sneak peaks...]

In the past two months, I've spent time in Uganda, Africa....London, England....Nashville, TN...Lynchburg, VA...Wisconsin....Chicago, IL....and am soon heading off to visit Oklahoma followed by Colorado Springs (I have several sessions booked while in CO Springs, so be looking for those.)

Needless to say, the past 8 weeks have been a whirlwind! I left Uganda in May after spending nearly a year there, doing public relations for an organization that rescues street children. In many ways, I am a different woman than I was last year at this time. Africa opened my eyes to a lot of things...many unpleasant, heartbreaking things but also many wonderful things (the way God is working there!) I fell in love with the beautiful Ugandans who I worked with and lived in community with. I hope one day to move back there.

But for now, I feel that I'm supposed to spend some time in the U.S., taking one day at a time. I'm still not sure exactly where I'm supposed to move (currently living in Pennsylvania.) I'll admit it: transitions are not easy, especially transitions paired with an unknown future. I am VERY excited, however, to be back behind the camera to do photo sessions. It's my goal to use my camera (just upgraded to a Canon 5Dmarkii and I love it) to tell a story. If you'd like to book a session, please contact me: aelizabeth215@gmail.com.

I am hoping to add many new photos to the blog in the near future. For now, enjoy a few sneak peaks!

Last weekend I did a vintage housekeeping session of my sister and her husband (they met at age 14 and recently said "I do" after 7 years of friendship!). Don't they look quite dashing in those vintage clothes?

I photographed a beautiful wedding in the woods of northern Wisconsin two weeks ago. The bride and groom tied the knot at her parents' house which sits right on the lake. Two of my favorites from the day:
