I am bursting with excitement to share with you a photo project I worked on from December until several weeks ago. HOHC is a non-profit ministry which serves pregnant and parenting young ladies. They recently held their annual banquet, and the theme for the evening was "His hands." I was asked to photograph a series to represent the theme, therefore representing the heart of HOHC's ministry. Each of the precious fingers, faces, or toes you see belong to residents and children of HOHC, making the photograph even more meaningful and powerful. Much creative brainstorming went into this project; thank you, Callie [Program Director] and Rachel [Community Development]!
Poster-size prints of each photo were displayed on easels around the banquet hall. Anyone who commits to a $50 or more monthly donation to HOHC will receive a print of their choice.
Please take a moment to visit the website of this incredible organization whose mission is to "bring hope, restoration, and service to single, young birthmothers and their children through Christ-centered homes." Each young woman that walks through their doors is offered an opportunity to grow, to change, and most importantly...for hope.
Enjoy my favorite shots from the "His hands" collection.
