Beth and Joel's special day was such a fun wedding to be part of! I met the lovely bride for the first time in July, through her brother, Aaron. It just so happened that Beth was still searching for a wedding photographer, and the rest is history. I then found out that I graduated high school with the groom's sister (yeah, small world! Or small town.... :) Needless to say, I very much enjoyed capturing their wedding day. Anyone who was there that day can attest to the genuine love between the couple as well as incredibl support from their family members.

There's a reason for this next, crazy shot. Their wedding day happened to fall on "national talk like a pirate day." It took some convincing, but these groomsmen were great sports for me!

Then I stole the couple away...we drove to the spot where they got engaged: a beautiful, fairy-tale mansion secluded in the woods!

Really nice shots, Ashley. You did a good job, and I like the creativity of the rings on the kisses. In the engagement location shot, I love how you captured how Joel adores Beth!
